About the Wedding Institute
The Wedding Institute is the parent brand behind Wedding Computer, the collaboration platform and CRM for the wedding industry. Where Wedding Computer is the software vendors and couples use to plan together, the Institute is where we publish, gather, and point people to the right professionals.
It's built around three things:
- For Couples — Real-world guidance for planning a wedding — budgets, timelines, and choosing the right people.
- For Vendors — How to grow and run a wedding business — leads, pricing, operations, and the craft.
- Community — Product news, releases, and stories from the Wedding Computer community.
The directory
Our vendor directory is powered directly by Wedding Computer. Every listing belongs to a real business running their CRM, calendar, and invoicing on the platform — so the details you see are kept current by the vendors themselves, not scraped or stale. Vendors opt in to being listed from inside Wedding Computer.
Our thesis
A wedding is a collaboration between a dozen different people. The tools, the writing, and the directory we build all start from that idea — and from the belief that the data behind it should stay open, portable, and owned by the people who create it.
